Albergo Italia is a historical venue in a young area.
Established during the splendour of the 1960s as an Ostaria, it later became an inn before undergoing several renovations after being affected by heavy floods.
The passing of the years did not affect the traditional culture, which remained alive in the local hospitality and the cuisine renownedits reworking of typical dishes.
It is said that where the large car park is now locatedthere used to be a "Balera" (dance floor) in the summer, where people from the town and holiday makers would gather to dance under the stars and enjoy a cheerful evening. Many famous singers of the time performed there and beauty pageants including Miss PortoTolle and Miss Elegance were held. At that time it was known as "Arlecchino"..

Birdwatching

With over 370 regular nesting, migratory and wintering species, the birds are the most interesting part of the fauna in the Po Delta.

River Docking

At the back of the car park there is access to the major embankment. The embankment, which protects the town from the flooding of the river Po, can be used as a wonderful cycle route or as access to the river docks, which can be visited with guided tours with the companies "Marino Cacciatori" or "Il Vaporetto" by boat or "Batelo" on the great river, crossing the "scani" (shoals) or visiting the wonderful floodplains in a "slow" tourist itinerary that meanders between fauna and flora.

Bicycle Rental

Bikes with anti-puncture tires and five gears can be reserved and rented at the hotel reception for rides in a unique and charming setting. Customised tours can also be arranged with alternate bike/boat paths to "penetrate" the territory and enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience.
